Foriegn Investments: China’s Economical Infulunce on African Acountries

China has been the number one contributor in the foreign direct investments in Senegal. China has already injected 884 billion Cfa francs into the country’s economy. The Chinese have supported motorway projects such as the ila Touba Highway, AIDB-Mbour axis and the construction of infrastructures like Foundiougne bridge or the multi-village drilling.

China has also invested in 150 million Cfa francs in goods like seafood and peanuts. Most of the loans are focused on infrastructure, human resource training, aviation, and justice.
